The Entel DT544 Marine VHF 3.9W Marine, Non EU version (DT544) is an IECEx-certified portable device that provides exceptionally loud and clear audio. Its ultra-tactile buttons and high torque controls enable operation even while wearing gloves.
The DTEx Series establishes the standard for next-generation onboard radios, boasting a market-leading IP68 submersible rating (2 meters for 4 hours). You can rely on the DTEx to endure daily use in extreme and challenging maritime conditions.

Channels – The DT544 comes pre-loaded with all International, USA, and Canadian channels, and it also allows for the programming of an additional 16 private channels.
Environmental protection to IP68 (2 Meters for 4 hours) – The DT544 boasts the highest submersibility rating available from any manufacturer. This feature protects against corrosion, enabling it to endure complete immersion in water up to a depth of 2 meters for 4 hours, thereby safeguarding against potential hazards in extremely wet conditions.
Robust accessory socket – The accessory socket of the DT544 has been meticulously engineered to ensure that when an accessory is attached to the portable device, the connection can endure significant stress, including drops and careless handling. The durable, multi-pin interface and Micro-USB socket are both submersible and gold-plated to reduce the risk of damage and prevent corrosion. To maintain the integrity of IS protection levels, any accessory connected to the handset automatically undergoes a validation process to prevent the use of non-compliant accessories. User-friendly onboard reprogramming application – With our complimentary, unique, and easy-to-use PC application, you can effortlessly reprogram a DT544 radio while still onboard. The intuitive app allows for simple drag-and-drop of a new programming file from an email to your DT544 radio(s).
This process is straightforward and can be executed by individuals without technical expertise.
Keylock – To prevent unintentional operation, the keys and controls of your radio can be locked.
Programmable channel monitor button – If channel protection is activated on your DT544 portable, all signals except for your own networks will be filtered out. This feature can be temporarily disabled, allowing you to monitor all signals on your channel.
Audio Accessories & BA Support – Entel also provides a wide array of accessories, including Draegor BA. The CXR bone conductive throat and skull microphones, which are particularly favored by firefighters, eliminate background noise and are further enhanced by the DT544’s speech tailoring technology, ensuring clear communication every time.
Memory scan – allows users to create or modify their own channel scan list.
