The Ascom D83 Protector (DH8-ACAA) is a highly resilient DECT cordless phone specifically engineered for professionals working in extreme environments. Its compact design facilitates easy transport, and it has been rigorously tested to comply with the highest durability standards. With an IP67 rating, this device is entirely protected against dust and can endure temporary submersion in water (up to 1 meter deep for a maximum duration of 30 minutes). Its reinforced casing allows it to withstand temperature variations, falls from heights of up to 2 meters, and the various handling it may encounter on a daily basis, thereby improving its lifespan.

Fitted with a powerful 950mAh Li-Ion battery that can be recharged through the Versatile Connector, the Ascom D83 Protector (DH8-ACAA) handset offers up to 120 hours of standby time, enabling users to communicate for more than 10 continuous hours. Furthermore, it boasts a relatively swift charging time, requiring only 4 hours to achieve a full charge. The location system, powered by DECT, Ascom IR, Low Frequency, and Bluetooth Low Energy technologies, enables users to monitor the exact position of the phones within range in real time. To guarantee the safety of all users, this model is equipped with alarms and a push-button feature that can notify others in instances of loss of verticality, abnormal immobility, or tearing, as well as provide acoustic signals and automatic emergency calls that can be configured as needed.

UK Delivery

We aim for next day delivery. Any order placed before 1.00 pm on any business day (Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays) should be delivered the next business day before 5.30 pm (assuming the item is in stock).

  1. The Customer is required to inspect all goods upon receipt and to notify Office Phone Shop of any defects or complaints within 7 days of receiving goods.
  2. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the safe return of faulty or incorrect goods to Office Phone Shop.
  3. All goods returned must clearly state customers name, order no, telephone number, fault details and proof of purchasing. These goods must be in Office Phone Shop’s original packaging and condition, with original insertions, fixtures and parts. Failure to do so will result in the refund being invalidated.
  4. We use tamper proof labels which are stuck to each item sold by Office Phone Shop. This ensures that goods have been purchased from Office Phone Shop. When the label is peeled back Office Phone Shop Company details sticks to the glue and the label will then say void. No goods will be accepted back unless this label in intact.
